Crystal City-Pentagon Rotary Club supports international youth exchange programs and high school service clubs.
Exchange
Every year, we support short- and long-term high school exchange students from across the world. Exchange students have the opportunity to experience another culture, make lifelong friendships, and gain an understanding of other perspectives. Our club has sponsored local exchange students from Northern Virginia as well as foreign students from France, Brazil, India, Turkey, and Spain.
Interact
Interact Clubs provide high school students with the opportunity to develop leadership skills and engage in service. Our club supports an Interact Club at Wakefield High School. This year-round program includes Science Fairs, Career Day, Interact Club activities, and other events that help instill kindness and volunteerism in the students. We also award annual college scholarships to high school seniors that demonstrate personal commitments to “Service Above Self.”
